Figure Skate Stretching
If your skates are fit correctly, they should only fit "comfortably" snug ..."without"... any pressure points.
Even the best quality boot will seldom be a perfect fit right out of the box. Pro Skate has the equipment and expertise to alter the shape of a skate to accommodate the individual skater's foot.
Adjustments for common (or uncommon) pressure points can be made to areas such as the anklebones, arch or side of a small or big toe. These hot spots can be stretched ("popped") to relieve pressure on the exact area.
We can also stretch the skate's length to allow for a small difference in foot size, or to help that young growing foot get through the last month of the season.
The cost for stretching the length of a pair figure skates is $30.00/pair.
The cost of stretching for small fit-adjustments will range from $5.00 - $25.00 based on the time involved to make the adjustments.
